Beware Of Carriers Changing DOT Numbers

Beware Of Carriers Changing DOT Numbers

Beware Of Carriers Changing DOT Numbers. Are you working for a trucking company that has changed DOT numbers? If so, you may be part of a carrier that is scamming its way thru the system. Let me ask you this, for what reason should a carrier have to change their DOT number? Because they dont like that number? LOL, in fact there is no reason except the fact that they might have been told by the Department of Transportation to cease all operations.

Many carriers, when running illegal, get told by authorities, to stop operating. In turn they just file for a new DOT number and new name, hoping to fool authorities. Not before the trucking company has hurt many unsuspecting truckers. Truckers are conned into working for these scammers, with big promises. They then run for the carriers for many weeks before they catch on. In many cases the driver ends up not getting paid and quitting. If this red flag pops up in front of you, just say no.
