Is Trucking getting better? In the present times and considering everything that has happened in the United Staes, it does seem that the trucking industry is not where it needs to be. Recent reports are saying that employment has grown in the industry. This report might be due to the fact that the recent stimulus package for unemployment has ended. Many drivers had waited till July 31st to see if they would receive an extension on their benefits. Flash forward two weeks and we have yet another extension for unemployment benefits. Drivers that did not ant to go back to work due to the corona virus situation now have the option to stay home and collect money. This write is just not sure that employment is going to grow if there are better incentives to stay home, collect free money and chill out.

Is Trucking Getting Better
Trucking seems to be suffering great losses with the freight volume being way down. Trucking companies have had to turn to brokers for extra freight to keep their fleets moving. This is the last thing a trucking company wants to do. Turning to brokers can be a nightmare that no one wants to face. When the turn around comes and it will come, trucking will be the first to see it. Trucking has always been the first to see the bed times and the first to see the good times. TalkCDL will keep all of you posted at to when the good times has begun.
The Tarif wars started in October of 2018 and is still going today. Most people do not realize that the freight coming into the United States has a tax on it now. The problem is the American businesses are the ones stuck paying the bill. This had created the slowdown in the economy. Businesses could not afford to pay the taxes and thus began the suffering of the bottom line. Every business that had been relying on Chinese imports suffered at the hand of this nasty war. Trucking would take a hit immediately being 90% of all imports is in need of a tractor trailer to move It around. If there is a lack of freight truck g companies quickly become desperate to fill their trailers. IS TRUCKING GETTING BETTER
