Autonomous Truck Could Backfire on Trucking Companies
Driverless trucks are coming to a trucking company near you. It could effect the carriers in the opposite way they expect it. Trucking companies hope to eliminate most truck driers in hopes to improve their fleets. There is however, one small factor they probably haven’t taken in to count. Their customers might not need them either.
Without drivers trucking companies will make more money. Also without trucking companies manufacturers will make more money also. Thats right. when these driverless trucks finally make it to the market, it will give the manufacturer opportunity to cut out the trucking companies, just like they are doing to the carriers.
