Please, not the beer….. I-75 Semi Accident

Well, at least it wasn’t a good beer,

So what I am wondering right from the start is, did this driver need to shotgun each and every one of these beers? Because this is a party foul in my book. I mean, its not like he has a vehicle to drive so no DUI potential. Oh, was that to soon? Na, this was in August. But seriously drivers,  in this case it is beautiful weather, and the only excuse for this accident is that you do not have an excuse. If you cannot handle your animal from distracting you inside the truck, then do not bring it with you. It is cases like this that companies remove pet policy’s from their packages, and ultimately hurting those who have good animals! What is your thoughts on this topic? Do you have bring your animal with you? How does it behave? Is it worth potentially, your life or a 4wheelers life to bring along your animal?

Hernando County, Florida (WTSP) — Florida State Troopers say a beer truck overturned on Interstate 75 near Tampa Tuesday morning and spilled its load all because of a small dog.

The Florida Highway Patrol says the driver of a Budweiser tractor trailer, 23-year-old Malcolm Wilcox, got distracted by a small dog inside his cab and lost control causing him to travel onto the outside shoulder. When he over-corrected, the semi traveled across the roadway and collided with the center median guardrail and overturned.

As a result, most of his load of beer cans spilled onto the roadway, closing the inside lane for more than three hours.

No one was injured, including the dog.
