A Warning To Trucking Companies
Recently a Trucking Company was forced to rehire a driver they terminated. A truck driver had reported safety concerns. A trucking company is not allowed to terminate an employee for raising concerns with possible safety issues.
The carrier was made to pay backpay and punitive damages.
Truckers may be entitled to a lawsuit
