Questions for the D.O.T.
Drivers wrote in some questions and we asked them. Are there certain carriers the D.O.T. targets? What should a driver do that is forced off a shippers property with no available hours to run? What is the ruling on truckers carrying firearms in a semi truck? Is it legal? What does the law say about a trucker having alcohol in a semi truck while on break? These questions and more were asked the latest podcast.

Trooper Hoover
Be sure and follow Trooper Hoover on Facebook. He posts videos of rigs with some mind blowing violations you wouldn’t think was on the road. He does this though with respect. He never posts a trucking company name nor does he post a driver that does not want to be on camera. Trooper Hoover pulls many drivers over for inspections but many times just to give advice or to help a driver fix a problem. Yes some drivers will get fines but this Trooper is bridging the gap between law enforcement and the trucker bay treating us with respect.
