Recently a semi-truck carrying pumpkins crashed on an early morning creating an eerie scenery of burnt pumpkins as like a pumpkin grave yard. The accident on I75 in Pasco County FL also caused extensive damage to the roadway itself.
The asphalt was in need of repaving and crews have taken care of the construction making the interstate mobile once again.
Florida Highway Patrol investigators said Lortatia Marshall, 43, of Waynesboro, Georgia, was driving the semi-truck southbound on I-75.
At 4:30 a.m., she was in the outside lane, north of SR-52 and drove into a barrier at the exit ramp. Upon coming to a rest the semi truck exploded into flames on the outside lanes.
The cargo of pumpkins also caught on fire destroying the load.
Marshall was able to escape with out injury.
