Detention Pay whats that?

We talked about detention pay also. Most drivers would ask whats that? Meaning they are normally told that the company pays detention when being recruited by a trucking company but when it comes down to it they rarely see a dime. While the truck sits and is delayed no one wins but the driver takes the bigger hit. He is the worker that is paid the very least in the entire equation and when he sit for so many hours a week it cuts into his drive time which takes money and food out of his families mouth.
