Has FMCSA Really Made Roads Safer? Check out these stats. 1975 4305 deaths involving large trucks, 1976 4893, 1992 4422, 2002 4846, 2021 4714, so it does not appear to have changed much. With all the regulations, you would think the numbers would decline every year.

The new regulation to hit the market are “speed limiters”. It is unclear if and when this will start but it is heating up for debate. Many claim that it will make the roads unsafer. Putting over 3 million large trucks on the road, at a slower speed than cars, is a recipe for rear end collisions. We will see how this plays out. Has FMCSA Really Made Roads Safer?

Trucker David Schultz is still missing

No real new updates on the whereabouts of David Schultz, a trucker last seen near Fort Dodge IA. He had a fully loaded livestock truck when he disappeared. His phone and coat were at the scene. If anyone has information on this trucker, please contact TalkCDL via email, Ruthann@TalkCDL.com
