Social Media and Love
Recently we talked about the traps on social media. There are woman and men trolling social media looking for unsuspecting lonely truckers. Recently there have been a rise in these scam artists luring gullible and desperate people with pictures and friendly conversation. Look no further scammers, why not try for someone that is on the road and lonely? Yeah, thats how they think. Scammers are targeting, you guest it, truckers. Long haul truckers are alone for long periods at a time and can be conned into what looks like a relationship with a friendly smile from just a plane old picture. The scammer is not necessarily a woman. Because you can’t see the actual person sending you a picture and texting you sweet words of propositions, it is very easy for man or woman to be behind the scam.
