A Few trucking Companies To Avoid

When you work for a small trucking company one of the biggest threats you have is a bad reference or no reference at all. When a driver quits a small carrier they normally take it personally and in many cases will avoid giving out the reference to the next trucking company that is trying to hire you. This is not the case will all small carriers but it is in many cases. Small carriers with under 30 trucks find it hard to be compliant with DOT and again in many cases do not ask professionally. Check out the reputation of any small carrier you are going to work for. Ask them if you can talk to a “former” driver or two of theirs. If they will let you then ask that particular driver if there were any issues after you Lef th company. This will tell you allot.
