Subtle to Loud
Most changes will be very little in the beginning. As time goes on it is inevitable that Millis falls in line with the new mothership. Drivers that work for Millis may come to find out that their health care will change. All changes are going to be based on the motherships financial decisions. For example, Millis driver may enjoy more vacation weeks than the current Heartland drivers. That is sure to change over time. Another example is dedicated runs. I have talked to many drivers that have gone through these same changes. Drivers that are normally on dedicated routes tend to lost them to the motherships drivers. Home time changes will change, pay structures, paid holidays, truck speeds and even current drivers that may have been hired under old guide lines. Change is coming and thats one thing for sure this writer knows.
Swat team storms a trucks house
Recently a trucker was streaming live on his youtube channel. When all of a sudden swat and the local police were on scene. A common practice among gamers these days is something called swatting. Swatting happens when someone playing a mean prank disguises himself from an anonymous computer while making a false report to police about a crime. The gamer normally is able to look up the victims address through social media and then accuses that person of a horrible crime such as murder. The police have no reason to believe the prankster is not telling the truth and therefore shows up at the accused address to make an arrest. This time everything went well for all parties on scene. But in times past innocent people have been killed because the police thought they were dealing with an individual that had committed a violent crime.
