Two DUI Trucking Stories

TWO TRUCKING DUI STORIES. In Nevada a Trucker received 2 DUI’s in just 12 days. The worse part of this story, is, That the truck driver was in a commercial vehicle, both times. Julio Perea Ayala a Class CDL holder was arrested twice for a DWI (Driving While Intoxicated), of which he was behind the wheel of a commercial vehicle. Ayala was declared an imminent threat to the public by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). He was served an order March 26th that ordered him to cease and desist from operating any commercial vehicle in interstate commerce.

A second story appeared this week.

Two DUI Trucking Stories. TalkCDL obtained a story of a commercial truck driver that has received 5 DWI’s in his lifetime. The driver writes, ” I have obtained my Class A CDL and am seeking employment. He asks if there is a chance he will get a job and if anyone knows of a carrier that would give him a chance? Trucking schools are famous for taking money from people that have the dream of becoming a trucker, even when they know the person most likely will never get a job as a truck driver.
