They are coming to take your jobs. make no mistake about it, the big trucking companies in this country will eliminate your job. In an article this week in Transport Topics, the state of Texas has become a haven for automous semi truck manufacturers. The article mentioned that autonomous trucks have a human operator in the moving vehicle. It also said “In the not-too-distant future, that will no longer be the case.”

Meanwhile in a different article that is fighting for all semi trucks to have a human operator, a group of 55 businesses signed a letter or position that opposes Californias attempt to keep truckers in the cab. Read below

“In April, more than 55 business organizations and companies interested in AV trucks signed a letter for the record opposing AB 316, with a roll of co-signers that include Institute for Safer Trucking, CalChamber, California Small Business Association, US Xpress (CCJ Top 250, No. 19), California Manufacturers & Technology Association, California Hispanic Chamber, San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, and state-based AV companies.”
