Dispatcher Truckers and All Parties
It is no secret that everyone in trucking thinks their job is harder than the next guy. If you’re a trucker, have you considered the job a dispatcher has? Imagine having to deal with 20 to 40 screaming truckers. Imagine coming to work everyday just to hear people complain they are going to quit. Yes, this is what a dispatcher puts up with every day.
Dispatchers, have you ever thought what its like to be a trucker? Driving endless miles everyday. Putting up with DOT, inspections, weather and traffic every day? Imagine doing this job and at the end of the day you do not get to go home. This is what a trucker puts up with.
These are just two jobs, a dispatcher and a trucker. There are plenty more people that make up the trucking industry and none of their jobs are easy. This is why we must start putting ourselves in the other guys shoes. If we start giving each other a break, we just might start enjoying our job a little easier.
