Trucking News Its All About Truckers. How can a trucker ensure that he will be fired and most likely not drive a tractor-trailer for a very long time? Drive on the parkway, hit a bridge and do it while you are drunk. Thats right, recently a young trucker got himself in a whole heap of trouble, by driving while intoxicated on a road prohibited for truckers and of course crashing into a bridge. It doesn’t get any brighter than that.
Cop hits trucker while driving distracted
TRUCKING NEWS ITS ALL ABOUT TRUCKERS. Recently in Texas, a cop was getting off duty but while he was still in his patrol car, a semi truck magically appeared before him as he claimed to glance down at his on board computer. I say the word “glance” was probably not meant for this excuse. A year glance probably would not produce an entire tractor-trailer so close that you cant avoid hitting it and the impact is hard enough to make the patrol car become wedged under the semi. No, it sounds like the sergeant on the police force has some “splaining” to do. If this cop is a traffic cop that writes tickets to truckers and the general public for a living, you might want to reassign him to the desk.
