CB Radio Old Codes and Lingo

CB Radio codes have been long forgotten. Before just knowing the lingo a trucker had to know the cb codes i he was going to talk on the radio. When carrying a CB in your truck you lesson the chances of being robbed, beat up or worse yet killed. The CB Radio also thwarts would be robber and many many potential dangerous criminals.

With terms such as “A bear in the air” or ” you got one at mile marker 25 taking your picture” meant you almost had to learn an entire different language. The CB Radio started an entire fad being people were using them in their cars also. IN fact there was English, Spanish and Trucker language back then!
